Was intrigued to find out about the Normans after a BBC4 Doc on Castles This was very good I learnt a lot I felt the middle section to be a bit dry although this was to do with the massive bookending events in Williams life rather than due to writing I look forward to reading of these little books and maybe getting something a bit substantial on 1066 now my appetite has been whetted
